The REVOLUTION project focuses on designing and implementing an integrated management system for architectural heritage and civil infrastructure. Specifically, the project aims to develop a prototype of an open-source platform with a view to Digital Twin (DT), which remotely supports diagnosis and conservation activities, allowing the planning of built maintenance and management operations.
The project is based on long-term dynamic monitoring and numerical simulations; such an approach uses a digital replica of the monitored building to assess its structural health and identify any damage and allows to minimise movements, contacts, and interactions.
